Laundry tips:

  • Do not over-soap.  Over-sudsing causes water to overflow and drains to air-lock.  Your clothes will come out soap and wet.

  • Smallest washer needs 1/4 cup of soap, middle size needs 1/3 cup, largest size needs 1/2 cup.

  • Note...if you notice you have over soaped add liquid fabric softener through the same opening you put the soap in.  It will dampen the suds.

  • Pods go in with clothes, not in the soap tray. They won't melt in the soap tray, and your clothes will not get any soap.

  • Be careful of bleach.  Do not pore it directly in the drum.  If using, only put it in the compartment marked for it.

  • Check all clothes for items left.  Nails, screws, food, etc. can ruin your clothes.  Credit cards, money, etc. can be flushed down the drain.

  • Check all washers and dryers to make sure others haven't left something that will damage your clothes.

  • Be sure what you are washing is compatible with high spin speeds.  Some items such as pillows, throw rugs, etc. can come apart under high spin speeds.

  • If you are going to use the hottest dryer setting, be sure your clothes are compatible with 185 degree temperatures.  Some clothes will shrink or even melt under the high setting.
